Qualification and age criteria for IBPS Examination
- The age of the candidates should be within 20 to 30 years in order to be eligible for the examinations organized by IBPS.
- Candidate must have to graduate in any discipline.
IBPS PO Examination
IBPS SO Exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.
Stages of IBPS PO examination (Tier 1- Preliminary Exam), (Tier 2 – Mains) and Tier 3 (Interview Process).
- This exam is organized in three tiers – Tier 1(Preliminary Exam), Tier 2 (Mains) and Tier 3 (Interview Process).
Tier 1- Preliminary Exam
Tier 1 will consist of 100 MCQ type questions and each question will carry 1 mark. 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Tier 2 – Mains
The main exam will consist of the questions only from the knowledge of your professional subject.
Tier 3
Interview process.
*Both Tier 1 and Tier 2 will be conducted through online mode. The knowledge of computer literacy is necessary in this regard.
Age and qualification criteria for IBPS PO examination
- Candidates must have to graduate from any recognized university is a must for being eligible for IBPS SO Exam.
- Age- 20 to 30 years.
*The Mains exam will consists of questions only from the Professional Knowledge Subject. The Marks that you obtain in the Prelims exams will not be included in the final Merit list. The Marks that you obtain in the Mains will only be considered for shortlisting for Interviews.
IBPS Clerk Examination
Stages of IBPS PO examination (Tier 1- Preliminary Exam), (Tier 2 – Mains) and Tier 3 (Interview Process).
This exam is organized in three tiers – Tier 1(Preliminary Exam), Tier 2 (Mains) and Tier 3 (Interview Process). In Tier 1 you will get MCQ type questions.
Tier 1- Preliminary Exam
- You will be given a paper of 100 marks.
- 60 minutes will be given to complete the paper.
- Each question will carry 1 mark and you will get a total of 100 questions that you will have to finish within only 1 hour. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Tier 2 – Mains
- You will be given a paper of 200 marks.
- 135 minutes will be given to finish the paper.
- Each question will carry 1 mark and you will get a total of 100 questions that you will have to finish within only 1 hour. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Tier 3- Interview Process
- The final selection will be held in the interview process. The finally selected eligible candidates will be allowed to join as an IBPS Clerk. It is notable that the Final selection will be depended on the merit of Mains as well as Interview.

RRB(Regional Rural Banks) Office Assistant
Stages of examination
- This exam is organized by IBPS and held through three steps like Preliminary Exam, Mains and Interview. Computer knowledge is a must for cracking this examination. The final selection will be done after the Interview process.
